Product manager - Vacancy filled

This is the role
We are looking for a Product Manager who will combine an excellent business understanding and technical expertise with strong project management skills. He or she needs to bridge gaps and build bridges, both internal and external, with respect to content development, marketing and sales, as well as from an external perspective, towards matching product performances with customer needs.

Our ideal Product Manager is able to combine technical and commercial conversations with the ability to draw conclusions from these and steer related projects accordingly. The main tasks and responsibilities of the Product Manager are:

  • Bring new product developments to successful implementation;
  • Ensure proper positioning through USP and supporting argumentation (TCO, competitive analysis / benchmarks);
  • Scan the market for opportunities that enable Lighthouse IP to grow and capture new market opportunities. Translate these into segment- or product line extensions, that cover market-needs;
  • Play an active role in customer onboarding and after-sales processes;
  • Responsible for managing the project budgets and resources.

This is what you offer
  • Education in information management or IT, at a Bachelor / Master degree level, or proven affinity with data or software products;
  • Proven track record in the field of product or delivery management, preferably in a data or software oriented industry;
  • Good understanding of technical, financial and commercial interaction;
  • Strong project manager, with strong analytical skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional excellent verbal and written communication skills in other languages is always a plus.
