KIPO: From January 1, 2023, South Korea will adjust the classification of design products

This is the result of the official implementation of the 14th edition of the Locarno Classification from January 1, 2023, based on the results of the “15th Locarno International Classification Expert Meeting”, which reflects the development of international standards for the classification of industrial design items.

On December 13, 2022, Romania adopted amendments to its trademark law enabling the Romanian IPO to handle revocation and invalidation applications as of January 14, 2023.
