Lighthouse IP Introduces Marketplace Access to Sample IP Data

Organizations evaluating intellectual property data often face the same challenge: determining whether a dataset truly fits their specific use case. To support more informed evaluation, Lighthouse IP is introducing access to curated sample datasets for patents, trademarks, and designs via its Marketplace.

The Marketplace allows organizations to work with real IP data samples in their own systems and workflows. This makes it possible to assess data structure, legal context, and jurisdictional coverage using production-level datasets, rather than relying on specifications or assumptions.

Sample datasets available via the Marketplace reflect Lighthouse IP’s harmonized data structure and include enriched bibliographic and legal status information across more than 170 authorities worldwide. This access supports evaluation scenarios such as platform and vendor assessment, proof-of-concept development, analytics validation, and AI model testing.

“Access to real data is essential when evaluating IP data for platforms, analytics, or emerging AI use cases,” says Willem Lagemaat, Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Lighthouse IP. “By making sample datasets available through the Marketplace, organizations can evaluate our data quality in a transparent and practical way.”

This introduction reflects Lighthouse IP’s focus on transparency, data quality, and global coverage, and supports organizations in making more confident, data-driven IP decisions.
