IP Australian released Strategic Corporate Plan 2026–27

Intellectual Property Australia (IP Australian) published the Strategic Corporate Plan 2026–27, which sets key activities and initiatives to achieve the purpose of enabling Australians to benefit from great ideas through a world-leading intellectual property (IP) system. Built around 4 strategic objectives of Impact, Customer, Capability and Innovation, the plan responds to emerging opportunities and challenges, while continuing our focus on delivering high-quality services, supporting innovation and strengthening Australia’s IP system.

CNIPA-IPOS PPH Pilot Program Extended

Following a joint decision by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), the CNIPA-IPOS Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) Pilot Program will be extended for another five years, from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2031. The application for which participation in the pilot program is requested must share the same earliest date with its corresponding application, which may be either the priority date or the filing date of the corresponding application.
