Shanghai Sees over 400 Applications Related to Data Products’ IP Rights
Ever since Shanghai implemented on Dec 8 the interim measures for the registration and evidence preservation of data products’ intellectual property rights, the city has dealt with 409 such applications as of this Monday, said the local officials. Among the applications, 289 data products received the official evidence preservation, while 243 of them achieved licensing revenue of about 2.07 billion yuan ($280 million).

The International Trademark Association (INTA) has published its 2024 Presidential Task Force (PTF) Report, The Effect of Greenwashing and Greenhushing on Brand Value. The Report examines how both misleading environmental claims and the underreporting of genuine Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) achievements impact brand recognition, consumer trust, and ultimately, brand value, according to the official website of INTA.
