China: Huawei and HP Inc. Sign Global Patent Cross-Licensing Agreement

Huawei and HP Inc. announced the signing of a multiyear global patent cross-licensing agreement, including license to HP Inc. for certain Huawei WiFi patents. This milestone agreement not only reflects the companies’ cooperation in the field of intellectual property licensing but also recognizes Huawei’s innovation capabilities and core technological strength as well as HP’s position as a global leader in computers and peripheral equipment, according to the official website of Huawei.

Singapore: New Global Network to Advance Intangible Asset Valuation Practices

The Intangible Asset Valuation Network (IAVN) was formally launched at Singapore IP Week 2026, bringing together leading organizations from the intellectual property, valuation and commercialization communities to strengthen global practices and build capabilities in intangible asset valuation. The IAVN will provide a dedicated global platform for sharing knowledge, developing practical tools and resources, and fostering greater international alignment on best practices, while respecting diverse legal, regulatory and commercial contexts.
