Back to school: Fostering curiosity and IP awareness

A free e-learning programme developed by the European Patent Office (EPO). Designed for students aged 7 to 17, the programme encourages young learners to explore inventions, science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), while familiarising them with the basics of intellectual property. It has been developed with the support of European schools and provides ready-to-use resources that complement existing curricula and bring the world of invention to life.

Templates and guidance now available for PTAB AIA trials

the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) has announced the addition of two templates with companion guidance (and a glossary) that will now be available for America Invents Act (AIA) trial proceedings. The first template is for an AIA trial petition and the second template covers a patent owner response and preliminary response. The templates set forth the typical parts of each type of filing and the companion guidance explains the information to be provided in each part.
