Thailand launches six-point strategy to overhaul IP framework

At a meeting of the National Committee on Intellectual Property Policy, finance minister Pichai Chunhavajira has introduced a six-point strategy to overhaul Thailand’s intellectual property framework. The plan aims to drive innovation, bolster small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and secure Thailand’s removal from the United States’ Special 301 Watch List.

Hong Kong joins WIPO’s global IP judgments database

Hong Kong has signed a landmark agreement with the United Nations’ World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), enabling its judiciary to contribute landmark intellectual property rulings to the WIPO Lex-Judgments database. The move is part of a broader push to position Hong Kong as a regional hub for innovation and intellectual property trading.
