USPTO implementing additional security measures for Patent Center

As part of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) ongoing efforts to protect customer data, effective September 11, 2025, identity verification will be required for all Patent Center users. Guest and unregistered users will no longer be able to access Patent Center. For a smooth experience, USPTO encourage both current and future users to register early.

14th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference Opens in Beijing

The 14th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference (CIPAC) kicked off in Beijing on September 11, under the theme “IP in the Digital Age.” This year’s conference featured one main forum and 12 sub-forums, where participants engaged in discussions on key IP topics. A number of guests from government agencies, academia, and the business community delivered keynote speeches.
