Patent Mediation and Arbitration Centre inaugurated on 2 June 2026 in Ljubljana

On 2 June 2026, the Patent Mediation and Arbitration Centre (PMAC) of the Unified Patent Court was officially inaugurated in Ljubljana. Established under the framework of the Unified Patent Court, PMAC provides specialised services for the resolution of patent disputes through mediation, arbitration, expert determination and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

TIPO Released the Analysis of Industrial Trends of Trademark Applications (2020–2024) for Public Reference

TIPO released the “Analysis of Industrial Trends of Trademark Applications (2020–2024),” based on a comparative analysis of Taiwan’s 2024 trademark application data and the World Intellectual Property Indicators 2025 report (WIPI 2025) published by WIPO on November 12, 2025. Drawing on trademark application and registration data from the past five years, this report incorporates data cleansing, data conversion, classification integration, and data mining techniques to identify trends and potential developments across Taiwan’s industries.
