WIPO Nigeria Hosts Fourth IP and Women Business Summit

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Nigeria Office convened the fourth edition of the IP and Women Business Summit on March 17, 2026, at the United Nations House. Held under the theme “The Audacity for Change: Women Leading Innovation and Creativity for Nigeria’s Economic Transformation,” the Summit brought together over 300 participants from both the public and private sectors.

CNIPA and PRH Launch Focal Point Mechanism Pilot Project

In order to better serve the economic and trade exchanges between China and Finland and to assist enterprises from both countries in addressing intellectual property (IP)-related issues and concerns in the other country, the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and the Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) have, after consultations, decided to jointly launch the CNIPA-PRH Focal Point Mechanism pilot project.
