WIPO International Patent Drafting Training Program

The inaugural Spanish edition of the WIPO International Patent Drafting Training Program (IPDTP) is now open for applications until September 4, 2026. The session is scheduled to start on October 7, 2026. Upon the successful completion of the program, participants will be awarded a WIPO certificate.

China unveils five-year IP plan focused on AI, protection and global competitiveness

China has unveiled a new five-year intellectual property policy document, releasing the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) for Intellectual Property Protection and Utilization, a roadmap expected to shape patent, trademark, copyright and IP utilization strategies across the country for the remainder of the decade. Among the priorities identified are stronger IP protection in emerging sectors, including artificial intelligence and algorithms.
