WIPO Introduces Korean and Japanese Editions of Popular PCT Basics Webinar Series

WIPO’s PCT Basics webinar series is launching in Korean and Japanese, furthering WIPO’s commitment to making essential PCT knowledge accessible to innovators and patent professionals worldwide. The Korean-language series debuts with Episode 1 on November 6, 2025 at 8h30 Geneva time, CET. Episodes 1 and 2 of the Japanese series arrive on November 13, 2025 at 9h Geneva time, CET.

International Forums Held at the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan

The Japan Patent Office (JPO) hosted the International Forums together with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and intellectual property offices in various countries. The EXPO2025 JPO-WIPO AWARD ceremony was held during the International Forums in order to honor companies that leverage IP to design a better future in areas such as climate change and women’s empowerment. In addition, a launch event was held for the Expo special edition of the Green Technology Book published by WIPO.
