WIPO Launches New Series of Short Intellectual Property Analytics Reports

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has launched SPARK, a new series of short reports looking into technological trends across different industries. Developed by WIPO’s team of IP analysts and experts, each SPARK edition draws on patent data from countries worldwide and focuses on niche technological topics.

ROK and UAE Made New Arrangement Expanding Existing IP Cooperation

The Ministry of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Korea (ROK) led by Minister KIM Yong Sun announced that, on November 18, 2025, it exchanged with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Economy and Tourism (MOET) the Arrangement on Amending the Memorandum of Understanding on Reinforced Cooperation in the Field of Intellectual Property. The new arrangement expands and supplements the existing memorandum concluded in January 2023.
