WIPO: Hague System – Recording of Information Relating to the Creator of an Industrial Design

On July 1, 2026, amendments to the Regulations Under the Geneva Act (1999) of the Hague Agreement will enter into force, introducing the ability to record and update information about the creator of an industrial design in the International Register.

The New Zealand Intellectual Property Office passed the Patents Amendment Bill in Parliament

The Bill amended the Patents Act 2013 (2013 Act) to apply stricter criteria for examining and granting of divisional applications filed out of outstanding applications made under the Patents Act 1953 (1953 Act).
