UN Agencies Release Publication on AI-Enabled Health Innovation and Intellectual Property
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) launched a publication to help innovators navigate intellectual property (IP) and commercialization approaches for artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled health technologies.

IP5 Offices Agreed to Strengthen Joint Responses to IP Issues in the AI Era
At the IP5 Heads of Office-Industry Meeting on June 11, representatives of the IP5 Offices and industry reviewed the progress of major cooperative initiatives, including the Global Assignment System and comparative studies on examination practices for AI-related inventions and AI inventorship. They also discussed ways to improve the IP system from the users’ perspective.
