JPO – CNIPA Comparative Study on AI-related inventions

The JPO and the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) have jointly conducted a comparative study on AI-related inventions to illustrate the similarities and differences in examination practices to AI-related inventions at both patent offices.

IPO-Pakistan to Accede for PCT within 2 years

A consultative session on Accession to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and the proposed amendments in the Patent Ordinance, 2000 was held at the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan) headquarters, a press release stated by the Organization. The Director General vowed that IPO-Pakistan would accede to PCT within two years, which will enable IPO to strengthen the IP and commercialization in the country.
