The volume of patent applications for secondary batteries and semiconductors in South Korea has surged

Recently, the South Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) released an analysis report on approximately 107,000 domestic patent applications accepted by KIPO in the first half of 2023. Data shows that patent applications in the core technology fields of 12 major countries, including secondary batteries, semiconductors, and digital communication, have increased by 13.6%, from 103,437 in 2022 to 107,693.
